Chris Meverden has been a dog trainer since 2002, and has been competitive in the sport of IGP (formerly called schutzhund) since 2006. He has won 3 National Championships in IGP-  2013, 2015, and 2017, and has had numerous podium finishes when he does not win. His passion for training dogs and fixing the broken relationships owners have with their dogs, led Chris to start North Tampa Dog Training.

  • Heeling: On leash with distractions, including other dogs, people, and more.
  • Sit Command
  • Down Command with Stay
  • Place Command

  • Car Etiquette: Going in and out of cars with discipline.
  • Door Manners: Going through doors without bolting through.

Post-Training Support:

• Five private lessons with the trainer, including four during boarding.
