have known Chris Meverden for over five years and during this time I have observed the dedication, loyalty, and sensitivity that he has for my two German Shepherds, one Schutzhund IGP 3 and my other Shepherd, a fully obedient trained family pet. Chris is always the first to advocate for the animal in terms of their care, well-being, and attention. He genuinely gets the greatest of joy when training and caring for my dogs.  Chris has demonstrated to all of those that have used his services his reliability, consistency, and talents when it comes to caring for our working dogs, or pets. We had our dog previously trained at a local franchise dog trainer. Not only do we feel they were overpriced, but the results were just mediocre. We then sent him to Chris, and were amazed at the difference he made. Not only did his training techniques make more sense, but the time he spent training/explaining with us was a game-changer.

If there is a better dog trainer in the Tampa Bay area I would be surprised. Chris worked wonders with our challenging German Shepherd who has matured into a great family pet and protector. Thorough, responsive, and great with the dogs I recommend him wholeheartedly

North Tampa Dog Training came highly recommended by a friend/client of mine when we rescued a dogo argentino from animal control with serious behavioral issues. He did an amazing job in one month with him saving his life and has continued to be available for questions. We also sent our American bulldog puppy to him for basic training. He came back confidant and well behaved with all the bells and whistles (sit, down, stay or place, heel, and very good recall). The daily care, attention, and training they received while with him is amazing!

Chris is one of the most accomplished trainers in North America. He coached me to national placements and a world team spot with my first sport dog. The true sign of an excellent trainer is someone who can replicate their results with their students!
